Registration Desk
Registration Desk is open from 09.00am Thursday 17th-Saturday 19th October 2024.

The registration Desk is situated at the entrance of the congress hall l (first floor) and will be open during the hours of the meeting. 
Only delegates with the correct badge will be allowed access to the conference and exhibition areas. Please visit the registration desk to receive your printed badge and the coupon for dinner (if you have registered for the networking event).

Halls
As you navigate the venue, you'll find signs posted in various halls to guide you, and our friendly personnel are readily available to assist you in getting oriented and answering any questions you may have.

Auditorium
All lectures are scheduled to take place in the Auditorium located on the first floor, accessible through two entrances: one on the left and one on the right of the registration desk.

Workshop Hall 1
The Industry Shared Workshops: Venous Thrombectomy Masterclass and Novel Ablation & Sclerotherapy Techniques that will be held on Thursday and Friday respectively according to the program will take place at the Workshop Hall 1 on the first floor opposite the right entrance of the Auditorium. Participants must have completed their registration beforehand in order to gain access to the workshops.

Workshop Hall 2
The Industry Workshop of Philips and the Industry Workshop of BD that will be held on Thursday and Friday according to the program will take place at the Workshop Hall 2 on the first floor on the left of the Registration Desk. Participants must have completed their registration beforehand in order to gain access to the workshops.

Workshop Hall 3
The Industry Shared Workshop: Venous Stenting Masterclass that will be held on Friday according to the program will take place at the Workshop Hall 3 on the second floor. Participants must have completed their registration beforehand in order to gain access to the workshops.

Exhibition Areas
There are four exhibition areas all located on the first floor. One at the Peristyle, two towards the two entrances of the Auditorium, one at the Registration Desk Area.

E-Posters
E-Posters will be presented on Thursday according to the program on the ground floor. Two of them will be selected to be presented at the Auditorium on Saturday and the best one will be awarded. E-Posters are also available to view on the app and at the e-poster area during the symposium.

IVUS Venous Cases
IVUS Venous Cases will be desplayed during the symposium at the e-poster area. Two of them will be selected to present at the Auditorium on Saturday and the best one will be awarded. IVUS Venous Cases will also be available to view at the official website.

Venous Ultrasound Image
Venous Ultrasound images will be desplayed during the symposium at the e-poster area. One of them will be awarded and selected to be displayed at the Auditorium during breaks. Venous Ultrasound images will also be available to view at the official website.

Meet the Experts
Meet the Experts sessions will take place during Refreshments according to the program and will be held at the Peristyle.

Recording
All presentations are being recorded and will be available to view after the conference. Details will be sent to all delegates after the symposium.  Cameras will be in the room  recording the presentations and the audience.  Photos may also be taken.  These will be used for educational purposes only.  Please tell a member of the symposium staff if you do not wish to be recorded/photographed.

WiFi
There will be signs to connect through the venue wifi.

Refreshments
Refreshments will be available in several locations at the exhibition areas. If one area is busy, please find an alternative serving point.  This will help reduce the queues and ensure the sessions then start promptly.

VS Athens Run
A chance to run at the magnificent white-marble Panathenaic Stadium! Only those that have registered to participate at the RUN and have completed the Declaration of Jogging will be eligible to participate. Be dressed for running. See more information on shuttle bus transfer HERE.

Welcome Reception: at the ground floor
Thursday 17th October at 18.10
Join us at the Welcome Reception on Thursday evening in the ground floor, immediately after the last presentation.  This is an ideal opportunity to catch up with all those friends you may not have seen in a while and also participate to the e-Poster Presentations.

All registered delegates are welcome to the Welcome Reception.

VS Europe Cocktail Reception: Athens Island Riviera
Friday 18th October at 20.00
Come and celebrate the 1st Venous Symposium Europe with us in a stunning club setting by the sea at the famous Athens Riviera Island (Island Private House)! For those delegates who have booked dinner tickets, you will receive your coupon onsite at the registration desk.

Conference App - Voting for debates
If you have not already done so, please download the conference app “VSEurope2024” available on Apple and android devices.  The App includes details on the scientific programme, faculty members, floorplan for the exhibition areas and all halls, general information on the congress and access to the voting of the debates of sessions 8, 11 and 18.

Electronic Programme
The Electronic Programme will be available online at the official website.  The full programme, details of the meeting, and e-Posters, IVUS Venous cases and Ultrasound Venous Image will also be available. Click here to view.

On Demand
Recorded presentations will be available to watch on demand.  All delegates will receive log in credentials to have access to watch on demand.  Recordings will be available on the platform one week after the congress and will be open for six months.

EACCME / CME Credits
The symposium has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 23 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Attendance at each session will be monitored and recorded so please scan your badge every time you enter and exit the Lecture Hall (Auditorium). 
The Certificate of Attendance with the CME points credited will be available after the meeting and on completing the Evaluation Form.  A link and details will be available on the official website after the meeting.
